SpiritVale's 20+ world bosses are scattered across every biome in Nevaris, and finding them requires knowing both their spawn location and how to obtain the summon item that makes them appear. Unlike some games where bosses patrol or spawn on timers, SpiritVale bosses require a player to actively use a summon item at the correct location — and that summon item drops from specific monsters on the same map. This boss location guide maps out every known world boss spawn point, identifies the monsters that drop each boss's summon item, lists the nearest waypoints for quick access, and provides optimal rotation routes for efficient boss farming.
How Boss Spawning Works
Before using this guide, understand the boss spawning mechanics:
-
Each boss has a fixed spawn location on a specific map
-
A summon item is required to make the boss appear at its spawn point
-
Summon items drop from monsters on the same map as the boss
-
After a boss is killed, a tombstone appears and the boss enters a 1-hour respawn cooldown
-
After the cooldown, the boss can be summoned again using a new summon item

FAQ
How do I know if a boss is currently spawned?
Visit the boss's spawn location. If the boss is present, you can see and attack it. If a tombstone is at the location, the boss was recently killed and is on cooldown. If neither the boss nor a tombstone is present, the cooldown has expired and the boss can be summoned with the appropriate item.
Can bosses spawn in different locations on the same map?
No. Each world boss in SpiritVale has a fixed spawn point on its designated map. The boss always appears at the same location when summoned. This predictability makes it easy to find and fight bosses consistently.
What happens if someone else summons the boss while I am en route?
The boss appears for all players in the area. You can still participate in the fight even if another player used the summon item. Loot distribution follows the standard participation-based rules. However, if the boss is already dead when you arrive, you must wait for the 1-hour cooldown before it can be summoned again.
Are there bosses that can only be summoned at certain times?
As of the 0.30.0 Early Access version, all world bosses can be summoned at any time once their cooldown has expired. There are no time-of-day restrictions or seasonal limitations on boss spawning. This may change in future updates with event-specific bosses.
How many bosses can I reasonably farm per hour?
With optimal rotation between 3-4 geographically close bosses and accounting for travel and fight time, you can farm approximately 4-6 boss kills per hour. This assumes you have the summon items ready and the bosses' respawn cooldowns are staggered. For detailed timer tracking, visit our SpiritVale Boss Respawn Timer Guide.
Boss Preparation Checklist
Before heading to any boss location, use this checklist to ensure you are prepared:
Universal Boss Preparation

-
Elemental potion matching the boss's element: Provides temporary resistance for approximately 50% damage reduction from same-element attacks
-

-
Chest armor with matching element conversion card: Convert your armor element to resist the boss's primary damage type
Hard Boss Preparation (Level 60+)
In addition to universal preparation:
-

-
Party composition: Tank + Healer + DPS recommended for hard bosses

Very Hard Boss Preparation (Level 80+)
For the most challenging bosses:
-

-
Full artifact set at +5+ refine: Complete set bonus with meaningful per-refine scaling
-
Element-specific consumables: Elemental potions, resistance foods if available
